
HARFORD COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in a man’s death Thursday evening, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office announced.
On March 5, around 7:10 p.m., officers responded to Thomas Run Road near Edwin Drive for a single-vehicle crash.
The driver was identified as 39-year-old Bryan Schneider, from Bel Air, and he was taken to a nearby hospital, where medical staff declared him deceased.

Officials noted that Schneider was the only occupant in the vehicle.
Preliminary investigation indicated that for an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway, struck a utility box, then a tree, and officials said speed is believed to be a contributing factor.
Deputies are investigating the cause and circumstances of the crash.
