Driver arrested after fleeing east Baltimore traffic stop, striking police vehicle

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A driver was arrested Wednesday evening after police say they fled a traffic stop and struck a police vehicle in east Baltimore.

On Sept. 9 around 5:41 p.m., officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 5100 block of Erdman Avenue, located in the city’s Armistead Gardens neighborhood.

Authorities said the driver fled and hit a police vehicle.

The suspect was then stopped in Baltimore County and taken into custody, police said.

At this time, the driver’s identity is unknown as well as where in Baltimore County the driver was stopped.
