Drunk driver with gun arrested after two crashes in Hanover

Anne Arundel County Police recovered a loaded handgun from a drunk driver after he was involved in two car crashes on Friday in Hanover.

On Nov. 28, around 11:25 p.m., officers responded to the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle for a report of a car crash in which the driver appeared to be unresponsive behind the wheel.

The driver then put the car in drive and sped off as officers began arriving at the scene.

Not too long after, the car was involved in a second crash, which disabled both vehicles.

Anne Arundel County police said they observed signs of impairment by alcohol and detained the driver.

A loaded 9 mm Glock handgun was found next to the driver’s seat, according to officials.

The driver, identified as 24-year-old Kameron Randall, of Severn, who is prohibited from possessing firearms, was arrested and charged.
