
MARYLAND (WBFF) — Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Hale discussed the issues with energy and the costs associated with it in Maryland at a press conference on Tuesday.
Standing outside Geresbeck’s Food Market, Hale showed an energy bill that the store received in one month.
“52,960.32 in one month, and it almost doubled from the previous month,” Hale said.
It’s gotten to the extent that living in Maryland, our beautiful state is unaffordable because of electric and fees and increases.
Hale discussed the budget that Gov. Wes Moore is expected to sign into law this week.
“It’s like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. So yeah, we have this situation where who’s in charge here? He’s [Moore] on meet the nation the other day, but who’s facing Marylanders? Where is he? And he’s just not here, he’s running for president of the United States,” Hale said.
