ESSEX, Md. (WBFF) — An Essex man will be held without bond on rape and home invasion charges after allegedly asking his neighbor for sugar and trailing her to her kitchen, a judge ruled Monday.
Court records show Alonso Hester Jr. was arrested on three felonies Thursday, including first-degree, as well as a single count of misdemeanor assault. He is scheduled to appear for an April 10 hearing at Towson District Court.
As of Monday morning, he did not have an attorney listed as representing him.
According to charging documents, Baltimore County Police patrol officers were sent to an Essex apartment complex Wednesday night for a sexual assault in progress.
