HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. (WBFF) — The Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating after the historic Currier House in Harford County caught fire Monday morning.
On August 3 around 7:31 a.m., crews with the Susquehanna Hose Company were called to the bed and breakfast, located at 800 Market Street in Havre de Grace, for a reported house fire, officials said.

Two engines arrived on scene within three minutes and found fire showing from the exterior of the house.
Crews knocked down the exterior blaze before finding out that it had extended into the building and traveled through the structure’s walls.
Officials said crews conducted “extensive overhaul operations” to find and extinguish all remaining hidden fire.
The Susquehanna Hose Company was assisted by the Aberdeen Fire Department, the Level Volunteer Fire Company, the Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire & Emergency Services Local F-267 and the Harford County Department of Emergency Services EMS.
There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
