
FREDERICK, Md. (WBFF) — Four people, including a juvenile, have been charged in connection with an armed robbery in Frederick that took place earlier this year, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies began investigating the case Feb. 19, after a reported armed robbery earlier that day in the 7200 block of Corporate Court in Frederick.
The victim told deputies he was approached by two male suspects and robbed at gunpoint. Authorities said the suspects stole a handgun and other personal property.
Detectives later recovered the stolen handgun while serving a search warrant March 5, in the 100 block of West South Street in Frederick as part of a separate guns investigation.
Through the investigation, detectives identified four people and obtained arrest warrants charging them with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony/violent crime. The suspects are:
The sheriff’s office said Scott and James-Moore were already in custody on unrelated firearms charges when the warrants were issued.

On April 9, detectives executed search warrants in the 1700 block of Dogwood Drive and the 7100 block of Gresham Court East in Frederick.
Gaines was taken into custody at the Dogwood Drive address, authorities said. During the search, detectives recovered a Polymer80 ghost gun without a serial number from Gaines’ bedroom, the sheriff’s office said.
Authorities also said additional evidence related to the robbery was found at the Gresham Court East address.
On April 16, detectives located and arrested Teasley on her outstanding warrant, the sheriff’s office said.
In addition to the robbery-related charges, Gaines has been charged with possession of a firearm without a serial number.
