Fuel leak, crash closes right lane on I-695 near Cromwell Bridge Road in Baltimore County

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — Drivers on I-695 in Baltimore County should expect delays near Exit 29A at Cromwell Bridge Road because of a crash that has shut down the right lane and prompted an extended closure.

The Maryland State Highway Administration reported a fuel leak at the scene, with heavy-duty wreckers on the way.

Officials report that the backup extended to approximately half a mile.

The right lane was closed on I-695 prior to Exit 29A, according to the State Highway Administration’s CHART traffic system.
