(WBFF) — Next week, a judge will hear arguments from the developers of the controversial transmission line and landowners, who are fighting to stop the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project.
The proposed, nearly 70-mile transmission line, which would run through Baltimore, Carroll and Frederick Counties, has been a topic of debate for months, as Public Service Enterprise Group tries to get the line up and running. Currently, PSEG has filed a lawsuit, trying to get access to landowners’ private property in order to conduct surveys, in order to submit the information to state commissioners who will determine the outcome of the project.
