Homicide detectives investigate fatal shooting in east Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department’s homicide detectives opened an investigation into a deadly shooting on Saturday morning.

The shooting happened in the 1500 block of Ashland Avenue, and the gunshot victim remained at the shooting site.

Maryland Transit Administration police and Baltimore City police were at the crime scene.

Investigators used a forensics drown to capture imagery of the area.
