
FREDERICK, Md. (WBFF) — A Hyattsville man was arrested and is facing charges after police say he stabbed a co-worker in Frederick.
Darwin Martinez-Serrano, 17, is facing assault and reckless endangerment charges for his role in incident.
On August 20, around 3:10 p.m., deputies with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported stabbing in a parking lot in the 7200 block of Bank Court.

Deputies arrived and located a man suffering from multiple stab wounds to his arm, chest, and abdomen.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, officials said.
A preliminary investigation by deputies revealed that the victim and suspect worked together.

An argument between Martinez-Serrano and the victim turned physical during the parking lot, during which Martinez-Serrano stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing.
Authorities located Martinez-Serrano later in the evening in Hyattsville.
He was transported to Frederick County Adult Detention Center and is now facing charges.
