
BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Cancer survivors, families, health care workers and community members gathered Sunday at the Maryland Zoo for the 10th annual Johns Hopkins Below the Belt: Stride & Thrive 5K.
The event raised more than $500,000 to support the Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service at Johns Hopkins.

Participants traveled from across the country to walk and run in celebration of hope and survivorship, and to support research and care aimed at doubling survival rates through specialized treatment.
