GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WBFF) — Police are investigating after a man armed with a knife robbed a Royal Farms in Glen Burnie on Wednesday.
Officers responded at about 1:45 p.m. to the store at 7201 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., where investigators said a male suspect displayed a knife and demanded cash and merchandise from the clerk.
Police said another store employee startled the suspect, who dropped the knife and ran off with merchandise.
Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect.

Police described the suspect as a white man in his 20s with a neck tattoo and medium build. He was wearing a black T-shirt over a green long-sleeve shirt, white shorts and a black hat.
Detectives assigned to the Regional Crimes Unit are investigating.
