Lamar Jackson‘s horse clinched third place Saturday in a National Thoroughbred League (NTL) race held at Laurel Park.

The Baltimore Ravens’ starting quarterback and celebrity owner of the Maryland Colts franchise also hosted the NTL event.

Jackson was joined by members of his Forever Dreamers Foundation, which aims to “be a catalyst for change by uplifting and fulfilling the hopes and dreams of our youth.”

The Miami Thunderbolts took home first place while the defending champions, the New York Knights, finished second in the overall standings.

The three races (Races 5-7) offered a combined purse of $98,000, and all 10 teams entered at least two horses in each race.
