HANOVER, Md. (WBFF) — Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland announced it’s set to host the 2026 Mid-Atlantic Poker Open from Jan. 19 to Feb. 2.
The 21-event tournament will take place in The Poker Room at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, featuring games like Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and 7-Card Stud.
According to the casino, with over $1.2 million in guaranteed prize pools, the series invites both amateur and expert players. Highlights include a $500 opening event with a $100,000 prize pool and a $2,200 Main Event with a $500,000 prize pool.

Christopher Angelo, director of poker, said, “The Mid-Atlantic Poker Open is our annual tournament series that kicks off the year, sets the tone, and shines the spotlight on local talent on a national level.”
