Man arrested for attempted murder in northwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Police have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with the shooting of a 68-year-old woman in northwest Baltimore.

Detectives arrested Ceante Jordan in connection with the shooting, which happened on April 30, in the 4700 block of Liberty Heights Avenue.

Police said officers responded to the scene at about 1:43 p.m. for a report of a shooting and found the woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

On May 7, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Jordan at a home in the 2900 block of Oakford Avenue.

Police said he was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with attempted first-degree murder.
