Man arrested for deadly shooting in Halethorpe

A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with a deadly shooting that took place last week in Halethorpe, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Deontay Studivant, 21, allegedly shot and killed 21-year-old Damon Walker last Wednesday.

On May 6, around 12:20 a.m., officers responded to a local hospital for a gunshot victim.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Walker had walked into the hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound.

The next day, May 7, Walker was pronounced dead.

Detectives said the shooting occurred in the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle, and that it was an isolated incident.
