Man assaulted, robbed of $20 by four suspects in Greektown on Easter

A 49-year-old man was assaulted and robbed in Greektown early Easter Sunday, according to police.

The assault and robbery was reported at about 6:10 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Ponca Street.

Police say the victim told officers that he was assaulted by four unidentified black males.

During the assault, one of the suspects stole $20 from the victim’s pocket.

The suspects fled the area in a possible silver vehicle.
