A man has been arrested in connection with a double shooting that took place last month in east Baltimore, city police announced Friday.

41-year-old Derrick Davis Jr, of Baltimore, was charged with attempted murder after he allegedly shot a 29-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman in April.

On April 2, around 8:27 p.m., officers responded to the 2000 block of E. Hoffman Street for a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, police learned that two shooting victims had left the scene to seek treatment at a local hospital.
