Man charged with first-degree murder in West Cold Spring Lane shooting

Baltimore police have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with a deadly shooting in the city’s Northern District that killed a 56-year-old man last week.

Investigators said Taiwan Gray, 29, of Baltimore, was wanted for the murder of Mark Nash, 56, who was killed on April 23, in the 2800 block of West Cold Spring Lane.

Police said on that date, officers responded to the block at about 11:39 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Officers found a 56-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics took the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.

On April 29, warrant apprehension detectives arrested Gray without incident in the 2600 block of Wilkens Avenue, police said.

He was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with first-degree murder.
