FAIRMOUNT HEIGHTS, Md. (7News) — A man was shot and killed late Monday night in Prince George’s County, prompting a homicide investigation, police said.
Officers arrived at the scene at the 5300 block of Sheriff Road around 11:50 p.m. to find a man inside the location suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 7News crew was on the scene, which appeared to be near the Ebony Inn club.

Police said one person was taken into custody.
Authorities have not released details on what led up to the shooting. The victim’s identity has not been released.
