Man hospitalized after Fairmount Avenue shooting in Southeast Baltimore

Baltimore police are investigating an early morning shooting in Southeast Baltimore that left a 28-year-old man hospitalized.

Officers responded June 13, 2026, at about 4:54 a.m. to the 3400 block of Fairmount Avenue for a reported shooting, police said. When officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the lower body.

The victim was taken to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition, police said.

Southeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
