Man in critical condition after shooting in west Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A man is in critical condition Saturday afternoon after he was shot in west Baltimore, Baltimore Police said.

On Aug. 15, around 3:26 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of W. Lafayette Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert and a call for a reported shooting.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a 24-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, homicide detectives responded to the scene.
