BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A man was hospitalized in serious condition after he was shot early Sunday following a verbal dispute in Baltimore’s Mount Vernon neighborhood.
Police say that officers responded on March 8, at about 3:24 a.m., to the 800 block of Guilford Avenue for a reported shooting.
There, officers found a 40-year-old man who had been shot in the upper torso.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in serious condition, police said.

Central District detectives are investigating and said they learned the shooting happened after a verbal dispute.
