Man injured after woman carjacks him in Hampden, police say

A man was injured after a woman carjacked him and attempted to run him over Thursday afternoon in Hampden, Baltimore Police said.

On Aug. 13, around 3 p.m., the man offered a ride to an unidentified woman.

When they reached the intersection of W. 41st Street and Falls Road, the woman stole his car. The victim attempted to stop the car and sustained minor injuries.

Officers responded to the location in Hampden for a stolen vehicle. When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim, who told them what happened.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

At this time, the vehicle has not been recovered, and the investigation is ongoing.
