Man robbed at knifepoint by two bicyclists in Annapolis, police say

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) — A man was robbed at knifepoint by two suspects riding bicycles Thursday evening in Annapolis, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Police said officers responded around 5:35 p.m. on July 30 to the 2100 block of West Street for a reported citizen robbery.

Investigators said the victim told officers he was walking along West Street when two men on bicycles approached him.

One suspect allegedly pointed a folding knife at the victim while the second suspect stole his property and money.

Both suspects fled the area on their bicycles before officers arrived.

Southern District detectives are investigating the robbery.

Police described one suspect as a white man in his mid-to-late 30s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a white shirt and sweatpants. The second suspect is described as a Black man in his mid-to-late 30s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, wearing a black shirt and shorts.
