
SILVER SPRING, Md. (7News) — Montgomery County police are investigating an overnight stabbing that left one man injured and led to a suspect being Tased.
According to Montgomery County police, officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service crews were dispatched around 1:45 a.m. to the 12500 block of Georgia Avenue for a report of a man who had been stabbed in the arm.

According to their investigation, two men who were intoxicated got into an argument and one of them stabbed the other.
Police said the suspect was Tased by responding officers “because he was actively resisting arrest.” The suspect was evaluated by fire rescue personnel at the Silver Spring scene and taken into custody.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening stab wounds.
