Maryland Lottery pays out more than $27M in prizes during final week of June

The Maryland Lottery awarded more than $27 million in prizes during the week of June 22-28, including 29 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more.

Three $100,000 scratch-off prizes topped the week’s biggest winners.

The winning tickets included a 50X The Cash scratch-off sold at Fresh Market 24/7 in District Heights and two Scratch & Match tickets sold at a Giant in Gaithersburg and Queens Town Shell in Hyattsville.

A Racetrax ticket sold at a Shell station in Woodlawn won $76,522, while a Triple Red 7s Tripler scratch-off sold at a Sheetz in Boonsboro claimed a top prize of $57,777.

The Lottery also reported numerous $10,000 scratch-off winners across the state, including tickets sold in Baltimore, Odenton, Clinton, Hurlock, Sparrows Point, Williamsport, Gaithersburg, Mount Airy and Silver Spring.

Among the notable winners:

  • A $50,000 Big Win FAST PLAY ticket was sold June 23 at Highs in Mount Airy and remained unclaimed as of June 29.
  • A $50,000 Lightning Cash FAST PLAY ticket sold June 24 at Fastop in North Beach also remained unclaimed.
  • A $50,000 Powerball ticket sold June 26 at Crown Liquors in Hyattsville had not yet been claimed.
  • A $20,000 Mega Millions ticket sold June 23 at a 7-Eleven on South Paca Street in Baltimore remained unclaimed.
  • Four Pick 5 tickets worth $25,000 each were sold in Baltimore, Capitol Heights, Oxon Hill and Towson.
  • Additional Racetrax prizes included winning tickets worth $32,541 in Parkville, $11,575 in Baltimore and $10,472 in Hyattsville.

The Maryland Lottery reminds players to sign the back of their tickets immediately and keep them in a safe place.
