WASHINGTON (7News) — A Maryland man is facing charges is connection to a deadly shooting in D.C.’s Trinidad neighborhood last year.
Javonte Robinson, 28, is accused of killing 33-year-old Kalil Jerald Brown on June 2, 2025, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD)
Officers were called to the 1200 block of Raum Street Northeast around 7:52 p.m., where they found Brown with several gunshots. He later died at the hospital.

Police had been searching for his killer for months. On Wednesday, an arrest warrant was issued for Robinson, who is from Glen Burnie.
Robinson was arrested and faces a charge of first-degree murder while armed.
