Maryland State Fair unveils Harvest Hall to honor agricultural heritage at ribbon-cutting

The Maryland State Fair & Agricultural Society, Inc. held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday to introduce the 10,000-square-foot Harvest Hall, located on the site of the former Maryland State Fair Farm.

On January 15, a private ceremony was held to announce the new facility, with attendees including U.S. Representative Johnny Olszewski, Baltimore County Executive Kathy Klausmeier, and other officials.

The new facility will honor Maryland’s agricultural heritage by continuing to host farm and garden exhibits during the Maryland State Fair.

It will also serve as a versatile space for educational programs, meetings, conferences, receptions, and private events throughout the year.

Harvest Hall includes a welcoming lobby, restrooms, an event hall, storage areas, preparation spaces, and offices.

The Baltimore County Government supported the project with $1.75 million in Fiscal Year 2023 funding.
