Minor taken into custody after gunfire at Navy Yard ‘teen takeover’

WASHINGTON (7News) — A shooting was reported after what appears to be another teen takeover in D.C.’s Navy Yard neighborhood.

Metropolitan Police Department officers said they took a teen into custody after a firearm was discharged around 9:45 p.m. Saturday near First and M streets, SE.

Police said officers recovered a firearm.

No injuries were reported.
