More than 1,000 BGE customers without power as severe storms move through Maryland

More than 1,000 customers across central Maryland were without electricity Sunday night as severe thunderstorms moved through the region.

According to Baltimore Gas and Electric’s outage tracker, 1,294 customers were affected by outages as of 9:22 p.m. Sunday.

Anne Arundel County reported the highest number of customers affected, with 595 customers without power across 34 separate outages.

Carroll County reported 307 customers without power, while Baltimore County had 323 customers affected.

Baltimore City reported 24 customers without electricity.
