MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A motorcyclist has died following an early Tuesday morning crash, according to Montgomery County police.
Officers were dispatched at 6:14 a.m. to the intersection of Manor Road and Connecticut Avenue after receiving reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.
Police said the motorcyclist sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

As of 6:40 a.m., Connecticut Avenue remains closed in the area while officers investigate.
Drivers are being asked to seek alternate routes.
