MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Detectives say a video discovered in a high school changing room that led to the arrest of a Montgomery County school employee was recorded in 2018 and showed no nudity, as the investigation continues.
The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said its Special Victims Investigations Division is still reviewing evidence involving James Mulhern III, 43, of Clarksburg, Maryland, who is facing a charge of sex abuse of a minor.
Investigators believe Mulhern recorded the video during a theater production at Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda.

Police said the footage showed four people in various stages of undress, but no nudity was captured.
All four individuals have been identified and contacted by detectives.
Detectives had seized more than 100 electronic devices, including computers, cell phones, and tablets, from both the school and Mulhern’s home.
Authorities say those devices are undergoing forensic analysis to determine whether more crimes may have occurred.

Mulhern, a former media services technician with Montgomery County Public Schools, was arrested earlier this month after students found a camera in a theater control booth.
Court records show he was released on a $10,000 unsecured personal bond following a hearing on April 17.
Charging documents allege Mulhern admitted to placing the camera after initially denying involvement.
Mulhern has been placed on leave without pay, according to school officials.
Archived records show he previously held a leadership role with SEIU Local 500, which said it removed him from responsibilities after learning of the allegations.
