Officer shot, transported to Shock Trauma during active shooter incident in Baltimore

Two police officers have been shot and transported to Shock Trauma while the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is on the scene of an active shooter incident.

The officers suffered non-life threatening injuries, officials said.

Police said the suspect in the shooting was also shot.

According to BPD, officers are on the scene in the 6200 block of Park Heights Avenue for an “active shooter incident.”

Officers are asking people to avoid the surrounding areas and said that more information will be provided as it becomes available.
