Police are investigating a shooting at a large house party in Fallston that left one man dead and another critically injured.

According to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, shortly after midnight on July 5, deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 2300 block of Willow Vale Drive.

Deputies arrived to what the sheriff’s office described as a chaotic scene at a party with an estimated 100 people in attendance. A 34-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies began lifesaving efforts before the man was flown to a local trauma center, where he remains in critical condition.

Moments later, a second victim arrived at a nearby hospital after being taken by people who had been attending the party. That victim, a 23-year-old man from Windsor Mill, died of his injuries. The sheriff’s office said his name is not being released at this time.

While the circumstances and motive remain under investigation, the sheriff’s office said “all indications are that this incident appears to be isolated to the individuals attending the party,” and there is no information indicating an ongoing threat to surrounding neighborhoods.
