COLUMBIA, MD. (WBFF) — One person was killed, and five others were injured early Monday, after a shooting at an illegal car rally in Columbia, according to Howard County Police.
Police said officers were called at about 5:27 a.m. April 27, to a parking garage in the 6700 block of Alexander Bell Drive for a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found one adult man dead at the scene. A second adult man was taken from the scene with non-life-threatening injuries.
Over the next several hours, police said four additional shooting victims walked into local hospitals.

Investigators believe those injuries are also non-life-threatening and are tied to the same incident.
Detectives believe many of the rally participants, who were known to each other, were not from Howard County.
