BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The Maryland State Highway Administration announced upcoming ramp closures and detours for next week at the I-695 Baltimore Beltway and I-70 interchange.
These closures are scheduled for March 9 through 13, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., as crews prepare for a project this spring.
Crews will be installing temporary concrete barriers, temporary taps, and platforms for the upcoming bridge cleaning project.
The upcoming work is part of a contract to clean and paint eight bridges at the I-695/I-70 interchange this spring. Temporary traffic signs and cones will direct drivers through work zones and detour routes.

Officials note that the schedule is subject to change in the case of inclement weather, in which the lane and detours will take place on the next possible weeknight (Sunday through Thursday).
The ramp work is expected to be completed on Friday, March 13, weather permitting, officials said.
