BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A federal judge sentenced a Pasadena man to prison on Tuesday for walking down a residential street pointing a gun at residents and houses, said the Maryland U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Paul Bond, 36, of Pasadena, was sentenced to 51 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release for the possession of a firearm and ammunition by a prohibited person.
At the time of the incident, Bond was a felon, not permitted to possess a firearm or ammunition.
Bond pled guilty to the charges on Feb. 18.
According to court documents, on June 28, 2024, Anne Arundel County Police responded to two calls about an armed man carrying a gun and pointing it at houses walking on a Pasadena street.
Upon arrival, officers found Bond standing in the middle of the street carrying a black handgun in his right hand.
Officers drew their weapons and gave Bond verbal commands to drop the gun. He dropped the gun before officers arrested him and secured the weapon.
