BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The 25th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk brought thousands of people together in Baltimore on Saturday to raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer.
More than 4,000 participants were expected to take part in the walk at Camden Yards.
The walk brings the community together to support breast cancer patients, survivors and ongoing research.
“Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are a celebration of hope and courage, fighting back against breast cancer to raise awareness, fundraise, and help save more lives by funding lifesaving research to find more cures and provide free support services through the American Cancer Society,” organizers wrote.
The event has been held in Baltimore City for 25 years.
