Police investigate after woman fatally shot in south Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Police are investigating after a woman was fatally shot in south Baltimore Thursday night.

Around 7:43 p.m. on Feb. 26, officers responded to a home in the 900 block of Honaker Court in the Brooklyn neighborhood to investigate a “non-breather,” according to police.

When they arrived, they found an unresponsive woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office to learn the victim’s identity, officials said.

This comes one day after 21-year-old Kyree Plummer was shot to death on the 3500 block of 5th Street, which is about a mile away from where this woman was found shot.
