ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WBFF) — Howard County Police are investigating an early Sunday morning armed robbery at High’s in Ellicott City.
On June 21 around 2:30 a.m., officers were called to High’s, located along the 3000 block of Rogers Avenue.
There, a store employee told police a male suspect approached the counter, showed a weapon and then demanded money and cigarettes, according to authorities.

The employee complied, police said.
The suspect then fled.
