Police investigate three separate shootings across Baltimore in five hours

Baltimore police opened investigations into three shootings in three different parts of the city between Thursday night and Friday morning.

The first shooting was in southeast Baltimore around 7:50 p.m. on Thursday.

That’s when police found a 61-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds in the 400 block of Montford Street.

A few hours later, around 9:25 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting at a corner store in the 1200 block of East Preston Street.

Officers taped off the sidewalk surrounding the deli shop at the intersection of East Preston Street and Harford Avenue.

There was police activity in the 1100 block of North Central Avenue in the aftermath of the shooting, too.

A crime lab technician could be seen taking pictures inside the corner store and outside of the store.

Then, around 12:50 a.m., officers were sent to the 2800 block of Elgin Avenue to investigate another shooting.
