Police investigating after man injured in northwest Baltimore shooting

A 54-year-old man was injured in a shooting in northwest Baltimore early Wednesday morning, according to Baltimore police.

Officers responded to the 4900 block of Nelson Avenue on March 4, at about 6:31 a.m., for a reported shooting.

When they arrived, officers found the man suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was being treated for his injury.

Northwest District shooting detectives are investigating.
