BALTIMORE (WBFF) — It’s been several days since surveillance footage captured a man running out of a woman’s home in the 1600 block of Bolton Street in Bolton Hill and so far no arrest has been made.
The victim shared the details on a community association Facebook page writing, “I woke around 3 am to a noise in my bedroom. It was a man at the foot of my bed” and “He started to get sexually aggressive and threatened me with a gun.”

The crime captured the attention of the property manager of a nearby apartment building who reported a man matching the same description had attempted to break-in to one of their first-floor apartments.
FOX45 News followed up with Baltimore Police asking:
A spokesperson wrote:
At this time, we have been unable to confirm that the suspect in the Bolton Hill burglary is the same person that attempted to enter the Beethoven Apartments. We have increased patrols in the area and are currently working to identify and arrest the person(s) associated with these incidents.”
“It does sound like a person who is a predator and seems to be willing to break into an apartment in the middle of the night. Sounds like probably a sexual type of motivation. Those people are quite dangerous. And until apprehended, they do present a serious risk to public safety,” Jason Johnson, a law enforcement expert, said.
FOX45 News again asked about BPD issuing a warning to the public.
Back in 2023, federal and local police were heavily questioned over not alerting the public about rape and attempted murder suspect Jason Billingsley who days later went on to murder Pava LaPere.
“Generally the police will notify the community when there’s an ongoing risk or threat to public safety, which certainly these cases sound like they do present an ongoing risk to public safety. Now there might be a reason why BPD has chosen to withhold it, but I’ll let them speak to that if that’s the case,” Johnson said.
A description of the suspect has not yet been provided.
