Police probe early morning shooting in Northwest Baltimore

Police shut down part of a major thoroughfare in Northwest Baltimore to investigate a report of a shooting on Thursday morning.

Officers taped off the southbound lanes in the 3500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue after finding evidence of gunfire.

A crime lab technician took pictures of the evidence, which was strewn along the sidewalk.
