Police probe two southeast Baltimore robberies reported 15 minutes apart early Sunday

Baltimore police are investigating two robberies in southeast Baltimore, about 15 minutes apart, early Sunday morning.

Police said that between 2:28 a.m. and 2:43 a.m., officers responded to two separate robbery incidents.

The first robbery happened in the 3500 block of E. Lombard Street. Police said the suspect pulled out a knife and took the victim’s wallet.

The second robbery was reported in the 500 block of S. Newkirk Avenue.

Police said the suspect got out of a vehicle and robbed the victim of his wallet, cell phone, and keys. There was no mention of a weapon in that incident.
