Pulaski Highway collision kills two autocycle drivers; police investigate

Two people have died following a crash involving autocycles in southeast Baltimore on Tuesday, according to authorities.

The deadly collision happened around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Armistead Way.

Officers who went to the crash site found two autocycles that had been badly damaged after striking an SUV.

One of the autocycle drivers was pronounced dead at the site of the collision, police said.

The other autocycle driver was taken to a local hospital. Police said that person did not survive their injuries.

The person who had been driving the SUV was hospitalized with injuries that did not endanger their life, according to authorities.

Crash Team investigators are trying to piece together what happened.

They are awaiting positive identification of the crash victims, police said.

At the crash site, crime lab technicians could be seen assisting the Crash Team by using a drone to collect imagery of the damaged vehicles.

During that time, an employee from a nearby restaurant approached investigators to offer them video surveillance.
