Road closed after dump truck overturns in Bethesda, spilling gas

BETHESDA, Md. (7News) — Goldsboro Road is closed near Massachusetts Avenue after a dump truck overturned.

The wreck happened on Massachusetts Avenue and the truck is leaking gas in the area, Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and EMS Pete Piringer said.

Some lanes are also closed at MacArthur Boulevard and River Road.

Piringer said the truck was carrying gravel.

Hazmat is assisting with the clean up.
