
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A school bus driver for Montgomery County Public Schools died Tuesday after experiencing a medical emergency and crashing, officials said.
According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, crews were first dispatched to Poplarwood Place and Central Avenue around 3 p.m. At the time, officials said the driver had likely experienced a medical emergency before veering into trees and a utility pole.

The fire department said in a later update that the driver passed away and that the death is being treated as a medical emergency.
No students were on board the bus, officials said.
